His Excellency Al Gergawi highlighted the UAE’s five core principles that have shaped the UAE’s agenda, decisions, and policies since its foundation. The third principle, ‘agile governance’, underscores the UAE’s ability to adapt to rapid developments in the economic and technological fields. Al Gergawi emphasized the legislative reforms and business growth that have resulted from this principle, demonstrating the UAE’s capacity to navigate a changing world effectively.
The fourth principle is ‘technology as a driver for progress’. Al Gergawi detailed the UAE’s initiatives in adopting and leading technological advancements, such as introducing Artificial Intelligence as a mandatory subject in public schools and launching significant AI infrastructure projects.
The last principle, ‘human-centric development’, places people at the center of UAE policies and plans. Al Gergawi highlighted the high rate of home ownership among UAE citizens, advancements in healthcare, and the success of the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision in achieving its targets.
