Abu dhabi: The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF) has officially announced its comprehensive schedule of upcoming championships, detailing both national events and international participations stretching until the end of 2025.
According to Emirates News Agency, the federation is set to host the Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship – Round 7 No Gi on 27th and 28th September in Fujairah. Following this, the Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship – Final Round Gi will occur from 10th to 13th October at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi.
The 17th Abu Dhabi World Professional Championship 2025 is slated to take place from 12th to 22nd November at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City. This prestigious event will draw participants and spectators from around the globe.
Internationally, the UAE will participate in the 2025 JJIF World Championship in Bangkok, Thailand, from 1st to 15th November, as well as the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 17th to 18th November.
Finally, the Jiu-Jitsu President’s Cup – Finals is scheduled for 6th to 7th December at the Mubadala Arena, followed by the MMA Championship in Al Ain on 13th and 14th December, rounding off an eventful year for the sport in the region.
