Cairo: The Federal National Council (FNC) took part in the 39th session of the Executive Committee of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU), held Tuesday in Cairo, Egypt. The Council was represented at the meeting by Sultan bin Yaqub Al Zaabi, FNC Member and member of the Executive Committee of the AIPU.

According to Emirates News Agency, during the session, participants reviewed the General Secretariat's report on the Union's activities, the draft budget for 2026, and other issues on the agenda. The discussions aimed at strengthening inter-parliamentary collaboration among Arab nations and addressing regional legislative concerns.
