BAKU: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in discussions with several heads of state and delegation leaders at the COP29 climate conference in Baku, Azerbaijan. His Highness conducted separate meetings with Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Trkiye, Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary, and Željka Cvijanovic, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions centered on enhancing cooperation between the UAE and the respective countries in areas such as clean energy, sustainability, and climate action. The meetings aimed to explore ways to strengthen these ties further. Additionally, the meetings addressed the objectives of the COP29 conference, with all parties highlighting the significance of continued partnerships and global collaboration.
