UAE President Issues Emiri Decree Appointing New Chairmen for Key Departments


Abu dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has issued an Emiri decree appointing Shamis Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri as a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Department of Community Development, and Mohamed Taj Eddine Ahmed Alqadi as a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Department of Education and Knowledge.



According to Emirates News Agency, the appointments are part of the leadership’s ongoing efforts to enhance governance and administration in crucial areas of community development and education within the region. The roles are expected to play a significant part in shaping policies and strategies.



Shamis Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, the newly appointed Chairman of the Department of Community Development, will focus on initiatives to support various community welfare programs and projects aimed at improving the quality of life in the community.



Mohamed Taj Eddine Ahmed Alqadi, as the Chairman of the Department of Education and Knowledge, will oversee the education sector, focusing on advancing educational standards and knowledge dissemination across the emirate. The appointment emphasizes the importance placed on education by the leadership.
