UAE Provides Humanitarian Assistance to Lebanon Amid Crisis

Abu dhabi: Under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE is extending humanitarian assistance through the UAE Aid Agency to support those affected by the ongoing crisis in Lebanon.

According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE's assistance underscores its commitment to aiding communities impacted by disasters and crises and fulfilling its international commitments to ensure rapid humanitarian responses. Tareq Ahmed Al Ameri, Chairman of the UAE Aid Agency, emphasized the nation's role in providing immediate crisis response and supporting affected communities with essential relief to promote early recovery and access to basic needs such as food, medicine, clothing, and shelter.

Al Ameri highlighted that the UAE Aid Agency will collaborate with Lebanon's Higher Relief Council to deliver food supplies and other relief materials, ensuring timely provision of essential services and necessities to those affected.

Tariq Hassan Munaymina, the Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic to the UAE, expressed gratitude to the UAE's leadership, government, and people for their continued support and solidarity with the Lebanese people. He praised the UAE's efforts in assisting Lebanon in overcoming difficult living conditions and addressing urgent needs, contributing to peace, stability, and development.

The UAE has consistently provided humanitarian and developmental assistance to Lebanon, including initiatives like the "UAE stands with Lebanon" campaign, reflecting the Emirati values of giving and cooperation.
