Dubai: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, emphasized that the UAE has emerged as a leading educational beacon under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The country's commitment to education and human empowerment was highlighted during a celebration marking the 25th anniversary of the PACE Group's educational journey.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Nahyan noted the UAE's national objective of developing an integrated system of opportunities to support the growth of its citizens. This involves adopting policies and mechanisms that promote successful human development, capacity building, and investment in the future. He commended the contributions of residents who share a deep commitment to education and human development, made during the event at the Etisalat Academy in Muhaisnah, Dubai.
The celebration, titled PACE Silviora, was attended by members of the PACE Group's leadership, staff, and their families, including Board of Directors members Abdul Lateef Ibrahim, Shafi Ibrahim, and others. The gathering of over 6,000 individuals underscored the strong bonds within the Group and its 'one family' culture.
Sheikh Nahyan highlighted Dr. Ibrahim Haji's contributions since arriving in the UAE in October 1966, noting the establishment of the PACE Group 25 years ago as a testament to his vision. He expressed pride in Dr. Haji's legacy and the UAE's appreciation for expatriates who contribute to its educational goals.
He praised the PACE Group's dedication to developing students' character and integrity alongside academic skills, emphasizing the importance of values and responsibility in preparing students for the future.
