According to Emirates News Agency, in a statement commemorating World Humanitarian Day, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah highlighted that adherence to international humanitarian law is essential for the protection of civilians and humanitarian workers, as well as for preserving human dignity and life amidst conflict and crisis.

He stated that the UAE is dedicated to addressing humanitarian needs globally, without discrimination, and continues to enhance international partnerships and contribute to multilateral efforts, thus amplifying the impact and sustainability of humanitarian actions.

On World Humanitarian Day, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah underscored the shared responsibility of solidarity with humanity and the protection of human dignity and life. He affirmed the UAE's commitment to ensuring that its humanitarian responses are innovative and sustainable, extending beyond immediate needs to empower individuals and communities and supporting development and prosperity.
