UMEX and SimTEX 2026 Organising Committee Conducts Third Meeting to Assess Preparations

Abu dhabi: The Organising Committee for the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and the Simulation and Training Exhibition (SimTEX) 2026 has convened its third meeting to evaluate the latest developments and preparation stages for the upcoming exhibitions. The events, which are under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, are scheduled to take place from 20th to 22nd January 2026 at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

According to Emirates News Agency, the exhibitions are being organised by ADNEC Group in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council for Defence Empowerment. Strategic partners include EDGE Group and Abu Dhabi Mobility. The exhibitions aim to attract participation from leading local, regional, and international companies and institutions that specialize in unmanned systems, simulation, training, and advanced defence and security sectors.

The third meeting, chaired by Brigadier General Mohammed Obaid Al Marshoudi, focused on reviewing organisational, logistical, and technical procedures. It also assessed the readiness of specialised committees to ensure that the exhibitions and their accompanying conferences meet the highest international standards.

The committee emphasized the importance of integrated work among various committees to achieve the strategic objectives of UMEX and SimTEX 2026. This integrated approach is expected to reinforce the exhibitions' status as global platforms showcasing innovations in the unmanned systems and simulation sectors.

Regular sessions are planned to ensure comprehensive planning covering organisational, technical, logistical, media, and security aspects of the exhibitions.
