Umm Al Qaiwain Visual Arts Exhibition inaugurated


UMM AL QAIWAIN: Sheikh Ali bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Umm Al Qaiwain Municipality Department, inaugurated today the Umm Al Qaiwain Visual Arts Exhibition at the Umm Al Qaiwain Cultural Centre.

The exhibition featured the participation of 30 artists from the UAE, alongside artists from other countries, showcasing artworks inspired by abstract, classical, and realist art schools, showcasing a diverse collection of paintings highlighting the beauty of Arabian horses, as well as drawings reflecting realistic environments, such as architectural and heritage art.

Sheikh Ali toured the exhibition with the attendees, reviewing the various artworks from different artistic schools. The participants provided detailed explanations about their pieces, discussing the different techniques used in their creation and display, as well as the significance these works held in their personal artistic journeys and their development over time.

eptional art displays, which demonstrated the use of visual arts to address various issues in innovative ways. He praised the Ministry of Culture’s efforts in supporting the arts, particularly fine arts, by providing unique platforms for artists to showcase their work and offering continuous support, which significantly enhances the art scene in the country and gives artists wider opportunities for creativity and innovation.

Mubarak Al Nakhi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, highlighted that art exhibitions serve as an ideal platform for artists and creatives to come together, showcase their artistic projects, which blend different schools and styles, and exchange experiences and knowledge to convey the message of art and its valuable creative content to audiences who appreciate this type of creativity.

He also noted that art exhibitions play a major role in enriching the art and cultural landscape, drawing attention to the evolution of expertise and the visions of various art schools and movemen
ts.
