Umm Al Qura University and Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Explore Collaboration Prospects

President of Umm Al Qura University, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, met today with the Vice Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Prof. Abdulfattah bin Sulaiman Mashat, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting focused on discussing cooperation in improving services for pilgrims and workers in the Hajj and Umrah domains.

The Advisor to the President of Umm Al Qura University for Institutional Communication and Media Affairs, Dr. Sumaiya Sharaf, provided an overview of the university’s strategic plan for 2027. The plan focuses on developing initiatives and programs to serve different sectors, particularly enhancing services for pilgrims and advancing the Hajj and Umrah sectors.

In collaboration with relevant authorities, the university aims to offer educational, research, consulting, and voluntary services. It also provides logistical support, organizes conferences and meetings, facilitates translation, offers awareness and guidance, promotes innovation and entrepreneurship, and delivers communication and
media services.
