Under the patronage of Mohammed Al-Sharqi. Announcing the “Al-Badr” Scholarship with a Huge Prize Pool

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and as part of the Al Badr Initiative – In Love of Light Shown by Muhammad, the Government of Fujairah announced the Al Badr Financial Grant, which aims to support writing projects under implementation and publishing on the biography of the Prophet Muhammad, or studies on aspects of his life and virtues.

The scholarship includes three branches: the biography in contemporary literary Arabic language that shows the humanity of the Great Prophet and the universality of the message he carried in a literary form close to the novel from 40,000 to 60,000 words, and a poetry collection in praise of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, his morals, stages of his life, attitudes, wisdom, behavior, transactions in a poetry collection of 100 to 150 pages, and the Prophet’s biography for children and adolescents, in a simple and interesting language, and an innovative and loving treatment, introducing him, and complying with his morals and attitudes in a book or a series of booklets that include 10,000 to 15,000 words.

Each branch of the scholarship will be awarded AED 150,000, where three works will be nominated in each branch of the grant, each receiving AED 25,000 as a writing grant. The winning work among the three completed works will receive an additional AED 75,000.
