Gaza: The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) warned on Sunday that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip significantly worsened over the past two months due to the blockade imposed by Israeli occupation forces.

According to Qatar News Agency, UNICEF stated that children in Gaza are enduring relentless Israeli bombardment while being deprived of essential goods, services, and life-saving care since the onset of the genocidal war on the Strip. The organization stressed the urgent need to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza and to immediately resume the ceasefire.

Since March 2, Israeli occupation forces closed all crossings into Gaza, preventing the entry of humanitarian aid and pushing the Strip into a state of famine – despite the accumulation of aid trucks at its borders.
