Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director-General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), today honoured, at Al Wasl Plaza at Expo 2020 Dubai, the WAM teams that have made great efforts in covering the global event and the World Government Summit 2022 (WGS2022).
Al Rayssi said that he looks forward to adding more successes to WAM’s track record, and noted that the WAM team’s success, made in cooperation with local and international partners, is a source of pride for national media, and at the same time a motivation for further achievement and creativity in upcoming events.
He also underscored WAM’s keenness on becoming an active participant in all major events hosted in the UAE through proactive and comprehensive media coverage, especially in events such as WGS2022 and Expo 2020 Dubai, as part of its role in spotlighting the UAE’s achievements and its ongoing development across various sectors
