Dubai: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, the fourth edition of the World Police Summit attracted 53,922 participants from over 110 countries, marking an increase of more than 300 percent from the previous year.
According to Emirates News Agency, the summit, organized by Dubai Police in partnership with DXB LIVE, hosted six Ministers of Interior, four Deputy Ministers, 45 Police Chiefs, 41 Deputy Police Chiefs, and 692 ambassadors, consuls, and senior diplomats, establishing it as one of the largest global gatherings of law enforcement leaders. Held from 13th to 15th May at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the summit featured 140 sessions covering 12 key themes, including anti-money laundering, AI in policing, digital fraud, aviation security, and community policing. A total of 302 speakers and 922 high-level experts contributed to discussions that reinforced Dubai’s role as a hub for global security cooperation.
The event facilitated the signing of 38 memoranda of understanding between police forces, technology companies, and academic institutions. More than 900 individuals competed in the prestigious World Police Summit Awards, with 12 winners recognized on the final day. Lt. Col. Dr. Rashid Hamdan Al Ghafri, Secretary-General of the World Police Summit, remarked on the turnout and impact, stating, ‘This year’s turnout and impact have far exceeded expectations. The summit has become a vital platform for international police cooperation and innovation.’
Khalid Al Hammadi, Executive Vice President of DXB LIVE, expressed pride in supporting the event, noting, ‘We are proud to support this globally significant event. Leading technology companies showcased cutting-edge solutions. Summit partner Presight presented AI-driven analytics to support data-informed policing, while Zenith Technologies highlighted collaboration with Dubai Police on smart traffic systems. Federal Signal Corporation unveiled advanced vehicle lighting systems aimed at enhancing operational safety. Since its launch in 2022, the World Police Summit has grown into a major international platform for shaping the future of policing and reaffirming Dubai’s position as a center for excellence in security, innovation, and global engagement.
