Abu dhabi: Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, has been officially recognized with the Guinness World Records title for the most waterslides in a waterpark, boasting a record-setting total of 55 slides.
According to Emirates News Agency, the prestigious award was presented during a ceremony at the renowned waterpark. Dr. Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO of Miral, and Rayan Al Haddar, General Manager of Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, received the Guinness World Records certificate from Hanane Spiers, the Official Guinness World Records Adjudicator for the MENA region and Trkiye. This recognition highlights the waterpark's significant achievement.
Rayan Al Haddar expressed pride in receiving the title, highlighting the latest milestone for Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. He emphasized the addition of new attractions, including the UAE's tallest waterslide, which underscores their commitment to offering innovative and exceptional experiences for guests. The record follows a recent expansion that introduced 11 new rides, slides, and attractions, enhancing the park's Lost City theming as part of The Legend of the Lost Pearl. Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi now features over 70 rides, slides, and attractions, with the 55 waterslides forming the core of the guest experience.
With attractions ranging from the towering Matamir's Drop to high-speed racing slides and interactive water adventures, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi continues to redefine water-based entertainment.
