China’s Foreign Trade Sees Growth in First Half of 2025

Beijing: China’s total goods imports and exports in yuan-denominated terms rose to 21.79 trillion yuan (approximately US$3.05 trillion) in the first half of 2025, marking a 2.9 percent year-on-year increase, according to official data released on Monday. 5.2-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Tonga Islands

Tonga: A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck the Tonga islands in the South Pacific, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported. According to Emirates News Agency, the quake occurred 643 kilometers from Houma at a depth of 552 kilometers. There have been no reports of casualties or damage so far.
