Dubai: Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism and Chairman of the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), engaged in a series of strategic meetings with ministers and senior civil aviation officials from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and France on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow 2025. These discussions were aimed at enhancing international aviation cooperation, exchanging expertise, and developing innovative solutions to advance the safety and efficiency of air transport. Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the GCAA, was also present during the meetings.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting with Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics and Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia, emphasized the strong fraternal ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Discussions centered on opportunities to deepen collaboration in aviation, highlighting the spirit of partnership and integration between the two countries, with the potential to further grow the aviation sector in the region.
In another meeting, Abdulla Bin Touq conferred with Abdessamad Kayouh from the Ministry of Equipment, Transport and Logistics of Morocco. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in civil aviation, aiming to enhance communication and exchange in air transport between the two countries in the coming years.
Additionally, a bilateral meeting with Chems Chkioua, Director General of the French Civil Aviation Authority, underscored the importance of bolstering UAE-France cooperation in aviation. Both parties emphasized sharing expertise and best practices, reinforcing the strong friendship and collaborative ties in the civil aviation sector between the two nations.
