AJMAN: Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of Ajman Chamber, presided over the chamber's fourth Board of Directors meeting in 2024 to deliberate on the work plan for the upcoming year, 2025, and evaluate strategies for attracting international investments and enhancing exports. The gathering also involved a comprehensive review of the chamber's performance indicators for the current year. According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting took place at the Thara Centre for Entrepreneurship, attended by prominent figures including Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Second Vice Chairman of Ajman Chamber, and Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber, among other board members. Al Muwaiji opened the meeting by commending the UAE's achievements since the Union's establishment, highlighting the nation's progress and its strengthened international standing across various sectors. Al Muwaiji also acknowledged the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, who was recently honored with the Mo hammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award 2024, for his role in promoting government integration and partnerships with the federal government. The meeting included an examination of Ajman Chamber's financial status, results from the Human and Financial Resources Committee, and the proposed budget for 2025. The roadmap of projects aligned with Ajman Vision 2030 was also evaluated to bolster the chamber's support for the private sector and attract direct investments. The board underscored the need to enhance foreign participation in exhibitions and conferences to facilitate international trade and cooperation, showcasing local products globally and solidifying Ajman's role as a regional investment and commercial hub. Updates on Ajman Chamber's involvement in GITEX Global 2024 and its AI-driven service innovations were presented, alongside preparations for hosting the Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition (AETEX) 2025, targeting educational investment opportunities. Additionally, discussion s included Ajman Chamber's establishment of sustainable business centers to support entrepreneurs and startups through innovative administrative solutions.
