Ajman Department of Tourism to Participate in Arabian Travel Market 2026

Dubai: The Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media will participate in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026, set to occur from 14th to 17th September at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event will be held under the theme 'Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology.'

According to Emirates News Agency, the Department plans to showcase Ajman's tourism and cultural offerings, including its attractions, heritage, hospitality, and leisure experiences. This participation aims to strengthen Ajman's engagement with regional and international tourism markets.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, stated that ATM provides a significant platform to bolster Ajman's international tourism presence and engage with industry partners. He emphasized that this year's presentation reflects Ajman's identity, merging its cultural and historical heritage with evolving tourism experiences and an increased focus on innovation and technology.

Alhashmi also highlighted that this participation will create opportunities to expand cooperation across priority tourism markets and build strategic partnerships, supporting the emirate's tourism ecosystem. Ajman's stand at the event will feature cultural, media, and interactive experiences, including an exhibit titled From the Memory of Ajman, which will present archival photographs documenting key stages in the emirate's development.

A dedicated interactive zone will showcase tourism experiences, and the Craftsmen Majlis will emphasize traditional crafts and local heritage. The stand will also gather representatives from Ajman's public and private tourism sectors, including hotels, resorts, tourism companies, and the Ajman Chamber.

Through its participation, the Department aims to strengthen Ajman's presence in international tourism markets and highlight a destination offering that combines heritage, culture, hospitality, leisure, and innovation.
