Abu dhabi: The General Command of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced that air defences have intercepted and destroyed 188 ballistic missiles and 453 drones targeting the country since the onset of Iranian hostilities.
According to Emirates News Agency, the BDF's General Command highlighted that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian areas and private property constitutes a violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. These actions have been identified as a direct threat to regional peace and security.
The statement, as carried by Bahrain News Agency (BNA), underscores the ongoing tensions in the region and the measures being undertaken by Bahrain to safeguard its national security and protect its civilian population.
