Lusail: His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and Prime Minister of the Italian Republic, Giorgia Meloni, held discussions on regional and international developments during a meeting at Lusail Palace.

According to Emirates News Agency, both leaders emphasized the importance of de-escalating tensions and prioritizing political dialogue and diplomatic solutions. They identified these approaches as the most effective ways to manage the ongoing crisis in the Middle East and its effects on energy and supply chains, as well as to protect regional energy security.

In addition to these discussions, the Emir and the Prime Minister reviewed bilateral cooperation relations. They explored methods to enhance and develop these relations across various sectors, with a particular focus on the economy and energy.
