CBUAE to Host Annual UAE Banks Reception in Bangkok

Abu Dhabi:The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), in partnership with the Ministry of Finance and the UAE Banks Federation (UBF), is set to organize the "Annual UAE Banks Reception 2026" in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 15, 2026.

According to Emirates News Agency, this event is scheduled alongside the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, which occur from October 12 to 18, 2026. The reception aims to align with key themes of the meetings, focusing on enhancing global financial stability, supporting sustainable finance, and accelerating digital transformation within financial systems.

The gathering will attract senior officials, decision-makers, and leaders from the finance and business sectors globally. Attendees will include finance ministers, central bank governors, heads of global financial markets, and chief executives from prominent financial, investment, and fintech companies.

Sponsorship and participation will include over 26 entities and institutions such as government bodies, regulatory authorities, and financial markets. This extensive involvement highlights the UAE's significant role in the global digital financial landscape, emphasizing its contribution to sustainable finance, digital innovation, and payment infrastructure development.

Strategic partners, sponsors, and participants comprise leading UAE institutions, notably Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), along with major banks and fintech companies operating in the UAE.
