Beijing: A team of Chinese medical experts will depart from Beijing in the early hours of Tuesday for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to support local Ebola control efforts, according to China's National Health Commission (NHC) on Monday.

According to Emirates News Agency, the team, which possesses extensive experience in epidemic control, will collaborate with the existing Chinese medical team in the DRC. They aim to enhance cooperation with local medical and epidemic control agencies to help manage the Ebola outbreak effectively. The initiative underscores China's commitment to international health cooperation and its proactive role in addressing global health challenges.
