‘Hamdan Humanitarian Ship 9’ Begins Loading to Support Gaza as Part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3

Abu dhabi: The loading of the Hamdan Humanitarian Ship 9 commenced today at Khalifa Port (KEZAD), Abu Dhabi. Once the loading process is completed, the ship is set to sail to Egypt’s Al Arish Port. From there, the cargo will be transferred into the Gaza Strip as part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

According to Emirates News Agency, the vessel is carrying a substantial consignment of humanitarian and relief aid weighing 7,000 tonnes. This aid is intended to alleviate the hardships faced by civilians in Gaza and to supply essential resources amidst the challenging conditions. The shipment comprises a variety of food items, ready-to-eat food parcels, supplies for community kitchens, five ambulances, and additional resources to bolster the health sector.

This urgent humanitarian initiative is directed by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), as a gesture of solidarity with the Palestinian people. The initiative mirrors the UAE’s unwavering humanitarian approach of providing aid to those in need and its dedication to enhancing relief efforts in collaboration with its charitable and humanitarian institutions.
