According to Emirates News Agency, bin Touq highlighted the growth of companies in the new economy sectors in the UAE, which reached nearly 125,000 by mid-2026, marking a 37% increase from the previous year. This growth is part of the UAE's shift towards a new economic model, aligning with the "We the UAE 2031" vision to become a global hub for the new economy.

The UAE government has prioritized sectors such as advanced technology, artificial intelligence, the digital economy, renewable energy, and smart mobility. AI, in particular, is seen as a tool to enhance various sectors, including manufacturing, logistics, and tourism.

Investopia serves as a platform for investors, companies, and governments to transform emerging opportunities into viable investments. The event addresses shifts in the global economy, focusing on economic resilience, long-term capital attraction, and the role of governments and financial institutions in directing capital towards promising sectors.

Bin Touq also discussed Investopia Dialogues, which have engaged with 25 markets globally, fostering investment cooperation and connecting investors with opportunities. Emphasizing Africa, Investopia's initiatives in 2026 aim to develop partnerships in infrastructure and investment corridors.

The event will feature agreements linked to the Future 100 initiative, supporting entrepreneurship and startup financing. These agreements are expected to open new markets and build cross-border partnerships.
