Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani met with the US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry, who is currently visiting Rome.

The two sides discussed the relations between the two countries, particularly with regard to bilateral cooperation to face climate change.

The Italian Minister said in press statements following the meeting that he had exchanged views with the US Envoy on the importance of combating climate change, and Italy's position on this file.
