MoFA Issues Travel Advisory for Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Sudan

Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has issued a travel advisory cautioning UAE nationals and residents against visiting the Republic of Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Republic of South Sudan unless absolutely necessary, due to the evolving public health situation concerning Ebola virus disease (EVD).

According to Emirates News Agency, this advisory is part of the UAE's commitment to ensuring the wellbeing and safety of its citizens abroad. The Ministry emphasizes the significance of adhering to all travel advisories and guidance issued by MoFA. UAE nationals currently in these countries are urged to exercise the utmost caution, adhere to health and safety instructions from local authorities, register with the Twajudi service, and contact the Ministry in case of emergencies via the dedicated number for UAE nationals abroad: +97180024.
