National Ambulance Boosts Readiness for Eid Al-Adha Holiday

Abu Dhabi: National Ambulance, operating under the National Guard Command, has announced a state of heightened preparedness to ensure efficient emergency response during the upcoming Eid Al-Adha holiday. This initiative is part of a broader strategy aimed at delivering ambulance services with the utmost quality and operational efficiency during the holiday period.

According to Emirates News Agency, the comprehensive plan includes expanding field coverage through strategic deployment of ambulance crews, vehicles, and medical equipment. Additionally, there is an increase in staffing at ambulance communication centers to enhance readiness. The focus is particularly on high-density public areas that tend to draw large crowds during Eid, such as mosques, abattoirs, beaches, public parks, shopping malls, and popular tourist destinations.

This effort underscores National Ambulance's ongoing commitment to improving rapid response capabilities for emergencies, traffic accidents, and potential injuries during public holidays. The plan is executed in collaboration with strategic partners across the emergency and public safety sectors to ensure a coordinated approach.

National Ambulance has also called on the public to adhere to traffic safety regulations and exercise caution while driving, especially during peak holiday hours. Parents are advised to supervise children closely during celebrations to prevent accidents such as drowning, falls, burns, and injuries from fireworks and other hazardous activities.

The public is reminded not to hesitate in calling the emergency ambulance hotline 998 should there be a medical emergency requiring ambulance support. National Ambulance continues to provide 24/7 emergency medical services across the Emirates of Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Qaiwain, and Fujairah, supported by highly trained teams and a modern fleet equipped with advanced life-saving technology. This ensures quality care in line with global best practices in pre-hospital emergency care.
