Abu Dhabi: The National Ambulance is set to deliver crucial emergency medical services at the Yas Marina Circuit during the Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024, scheduled from December 5th to 8th. Operating under the National Guard Command, the National Ambulance is dedicated to enhancing public safety and health measures throughout the year at Yas Marina Circuit, particularly during the annual Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
According to Emirates News Agency, a multidisciplinary team of over 50 skilled professionals, including doctors, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, pharmacists, and other support staff, will be on hand to provide comprehensive medical coverage. This team will ensure the safety of both F1 teams and spectators across the circuit’s facilities, including the Medical Centre. Additionally, a fleet of 15 emergency vehicles and a helicopter emergency medical service unit, provided by the National Guard’s National Search and Rescue, are ready to offer air ambulance support as neede
d during the event.
In partnership with the Emirates Motorsport Organisation (EMSO), National Ambulance has enlisted additional specialized teams to ensure seamless coordination and comprehensive medical coverage. This collaboration aims to effectively manage the complexities of emergency medical responses at high-profile events such as the Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
