UAE Confirmed to Send 11 Athletes to Ulaanbaatar Grand Slam 2026

Ulaanbaatar: The UAE Judo Federation has officially announced the participation of 11 athletes in the 2026 Ulaanbaatar Grand Slam, scheduled to be held in Mongolia from June 19th to 21st. This international event will be conducted under the supervision of the International Judo Federation and will feature competitors from 55 countries.

According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE delegation will be led by Dr. Nasser Al Tamimi, who serves as a Board Member of the National Olympic Committee and Vice President of the UAE Judo Federation. The federation has confirmed that the draw for the tournament is set to take place on June 18th.

Mohammed bin Thaaloob Al Darei, President of the UAE Judo Federation, emphasized the significance of the tournament as a critical component of the national team's international program. He noted that it will provide valuable competitive experience against some of the leading judo nations globally.
