Abu Dhabi: NMDC Energy PJSC has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Gharbia, a leading advanced pipeline manufacturer based in Abu Dhabi. This collaboration aims to accelerate pipeline production in the UAE to meet both local and regional demands.

According to Emirates News Agency, Al Gharbia is recognized for its advanced capabilities in manufacturing Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) Pipes and is among the pioneering large-scale manufacturers embracing industry 4.0. The partnership aligns with the MIITE mandate to foster industrial growth within the UAE, representing a growing synergy between influential local entities in the industrial and energy sectors.

Ahmed Al Dhaheri, CEO of NMDC Energy, remarked on the collaboration, emphasizing NMDC Energy's commitment to exploring synergies that address the evolving demands of the energy industry. He expressed pride in the partnership with Al Gharbia, highlighting its potential to advance pipe manufacturing in Abu Dhabi and serve broader regional needs. Al Dhaheri noted the collaboration as a testament to the sophistication and global relevance of UAE-based businesses.

At the MIITE event, NMDC Group and NMDC Energy are showcasing their contributions to Abu Dhabi's development and the UAE's economic landscape. The Group is unveiling several strategic partnerships and providing updates on its international projects in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Taiwan, and Vietnam, in addition to its activities in the UAE.
