SDAIA Allows Pilgrims to Benefit From ‘Tawakkalna’ Services in Seven Languages

Makkah, The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has made several digital services available to pilgrims through the “Tawakkalna” application. The app, which has over 32 million users, offers 315 electronic services in seven languages and is accessible in more than 77 countries worldwide, providing a convenient and reliable tool for pilgrims.

During this year’s Hajj season, the Tawakkalna app provides services in Arabic, English, Filipino, Indonesian, Bangladeshi, Urdu, and Hindi, ensuring that all pilgrims can fully benefit from its features, regardless of their language. These services include notifications for the Hajj season, updated weather conditions in Makkah and Madinah in collaboration with the National Center of Meteorology, access to the Holy Quran, Qibla direction, and prayer times in cooperation with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.

ital Hajj card (Nusuk). It also facilitates entry permits to the Holy Sites for vehicles and individuals working in Hajj through the “My Cards” feature on the “My Information” page and issuance of Umrah permits for users holding Hajj permits during the Hajj season via the Rituals portal. Additionally, it provides “help me” services, a distress call feature, and displays the volunteer card for volunteers in collaboration with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority.

SDAIA’s efforts during this year’s Hajj aim to enhance capabilities related to data and futuristic technologies, with a particular focus on promoting continuous innovation in artificial intelligence. These advances are utilized to serve various sectors in the country, particularly those related to serving pilgrims.
