SPC member discusses service projects with acting governor of Taiz

Supreme Political Council member Sultan al-Samei on Sunday discussed with acting Governor of Taiz Ahmed al-Musawia aspects related to service and development projects in Taiz province.

Al-Samei and al-Musawa touched on the positive steps taken by the province's leadership to improve service, development and security performance, and to continue serving the community and development in various sectors.

He urged facilitating the transport of citizens and working to provide the necessary services according to the available capabilities.

Al-Musawa reviewed the overall issues related to service projects in the province which will contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens, explaining that work is underway on maintenance and rehabilitation of the main street, Taiz - Aden, at a total cost estimated at 475 million Y.R, funded by the United Nations Program (UNOPS).

He confirmed that works are underway in the last phase of asphalting Abu Shahid al-Jaradi Street in al-Taezeyah district, which is 1,500 meters long, at a cost of 168 million Y.R, funded by the local authority in the province.
