Deir ezzor: One Syrian Arab Army soldier was killed, and two others were injured on Saturday in an attack by unidentified assailants east of Deir Ezzor.

According to Emirates News Agency, in a statement carried by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the Ministry of Defence's Media and Communication Department reported that the soldiers came under a 'cowardly attack' by unknown assailants in the town of Jadid Bakara, east of Deir Ezzor.
