Nizhny novgorod: The UAE Balloon Team is making its presence felt at the third edition of the International Ballooning Festival "Air Brotherhood" in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The festival, which runs until July 1, features participation from international teams from Bulgaria, Slovakia, Belarus, Armenia, and several Russian teams. According to Emirates News Agency, Captain Pilot Abdulaziz Nasser Al Mansoori, head of the UAE Balloon Team, emphasized that their participation transcends the sporting realm. He stated that it serves as a mission to introduce Emirati culture and underscore the strong relations between the UAE and Russia. Al Mansoori highlighted that the team has been performing free aerial shows attended by Russian officials and media. He expressed appreciation for the attention their participation has received from the Russian leadership and noted the enthusiastic public engagement with the events and nightly shows by the team throughout the festival. He further explained that this participation in Russia is part of the team's second international tour, which commenced in Bristol, UK. The tour aims to promote ancient Arab and Islamic culture across various countries worldwide.
