UAE’s Educational Commitment Highlighted at PACE Group’s 25th Anniversary Celebration

Dubai: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, emphasized the UAE's dedication to education and human empowerment during a significant event. The celebration marked the 25th anniversary of the PACE Group's educational journey.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Nahyan highlighted the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in establishing the UAE as a leading educational beacon in the region. He underscored the national objective of developing an integrated system of opportunities to support the development of future generations and the importance of policies that ensure human development and capacity building.

The event, held under the banner PACE Silviora at the Etisalat Academy in Muhaisnah, Dubai, was attended by a large gathering of the Group's leadership, staff, and their families. The attendance of PACE Group's Board of Directors, including Abdul Lateef Ibrahim and other prominent figures, reflected the spirit of collective leadership and governance that has driven the Group's success over the past twenty-five years.

Nahyan bin Mubarak praised Dr. Ibrahim Haji, the founder of the PACE Group, for his significant contributions to education since arriving in the UAE in 1966. He noted the establishment of the PACE Group as a testament to Dr. Haji's enduring vision and legacy, emphasizing the country's appreciation for expatriates' contributions to education. The minister also lauded the PACE Group's commitment to empowering students by developing character and integrity alongside academic skills.

The celebration, which included over 6,000 members of the PACE family, recognized the strong human and professional bonds within the Group. The event also honored 743 long-serving employees with commemorative shields and gold coins, acknowledging their loyalty and contributions to the Group's growth and excellence.

A documentary film showcased the life and achievements of the late Dr. P. A. Ibrahim Haji, highlighting his educational vision and leadership. The family of Dr. Haji expressed gratitude for Sheikh Nahyan's presence, viewing it as a source of pride and motivation to continue their educational mission.
