Jadidat Arar Border Crossing Receives 20,000 Iraqi Pilgrims

Arar, The Jadidat Arar border crossing in the Northern Border Region has received more than 20,000 pilgrims from the Republic of Iraq, providing them with security, health, and guidance services.

The Hajj Committee in the region, under the direct supervision and follow-up of the Governor of the Northern Borders Region, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, has worked to expedite the completion of procedures for pilgrims and to provide all necessary medical, preventive, and awareness services and care.

Teams from all relevant authorities have used their capabilities to ensure the comfort of the pilgrims, with more than 194 volunteers contributing to organizing and providing services.

Presidency for Religious Affairs Inaugurates “The Guidance of the Prophet in Hajj Rituals” Course

Madinah: The Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Prophet’s Mosque inaugurated today the scientific course titled “The Guidance of the Prophet in Rituals” as part of the activities accompanying the “Take from Me Your Rituals of Hajj” initiative launched by the presidency within the framework of the Hajj season plan 1445 AH.

The course includes religious lessons with the participation of eminent preachers of the Prophet’s Mosque. The course is accompanied by an awareness campaign through social media.

First Group of Kyrgyz Pilgrims Leaves for Hajj

Bishkek, The first Kyrgyz pilgrims to perform Hajj rituals this year left yesterday from Osh International Airport for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The send-off ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi and Mufti of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan Abdulaziz Zakirov.

Al-Radi highlighted the significant efforts exerted by the Kingdom to serve the pilgrims, and its commitment to ensuring that pilgrims perform their Hajj rituals in a tranquil and spiritual atmosphere.

He further said that the Saudi government, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, is committed to providing all services and facilities to pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors.

Jeddah: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to President of the Independent State of Samoa Tuimaleali’ifano Va’aleto’a Sualauvi II on his country’s Independence Day.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques wished the Samoan president continued good health and happiness, and the government and people of Samoa steady progress and prosperity.

GCC Secretary General Strongly Condemns Israeli Occupation’s Attempts to Undermine UNRWA

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ attempts to undermine the efforts of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), by classifying it as a terrorist organization and lifting the immunity of its employees, who are carrying out their humanitarian role in alleviating the human tragedy suffered by the Palestinian people.

In a statement, Albudaiwi stressed that the Israeli occupation forces are obligated to facilitate the work of humanitarian organizations in accordance with international and humanitarian resolutions, emphasizing, at the same time, the need for the international community to support UNRWA’s work and efforts, and to put an end to the Israeli occupation forces’ illegal practices.

Moreover, the GCC Secretary General reiterated the GCC countries’ firm positions regarding the Palestinian cause, as being the central and primary issue for Arabs and Muslims,
supporting the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and the resolutions of international legitimacy.
