Ahmed Ali Mohammed Al Balushi, UAE Ambassador to Jordan, has received members of the Jordanian-Emirati Brotherhood Committee, under the chairmanship of Hussein Hazza’ Majali.
During the meeting at the Jordanian Senate, a number of issues and topics of common interest were reviewed, as well as ways and prospects for strengthening bilateral relations in various fields.
At the beginning of the meeting, Majali, on behalf of the Jordanian-Emirati Brotherhood Committee, expressed strong condemnation of the terrorist attacks launched by the Houthi militia against the UAE, stressing Jordan’s absolute solidarity with the UAE. He said that the security of the UAE and all Arab Gulf states is part of Jordan’s security.
Majali also hailed the historical and solid relations between the UAE and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Members of the Jordanian-Emirati Brotherhood Committee discussed with the UAE’s Ambassador ways to further develop bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries in all fields, especially with vital projects in education, health, information technology, investments, energy, infrastructure, water and tourism fields.
Al Balushi, in turn, commended the distinguished relations that bind the UAE and Jordan at all levels, stressing that they are based on sincere, harmonious and deep-rooted ties, which have received the attention of the two countries’ leaderships.
He valued the level of cooperation in the legislative and parliamentary fields between the two brotherly countries in light of the fruitful meetings and visits between the Federal National Council and the Jordanian National Assembly, pointing to the great role played by the Jordanian-Emirati Brotherhood Committee in this regard.
