ABU DHABI: The UAE Football Association today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the UAE government’s Cybersecurity Council here.
The MoU aims to enhance cooperation through the exchange of expertise in cyber fields related to information and communication technology, and to focus on cooperation, deterrence and prevention of cyberattacks, in addition to participating in promoting awareness, educational and scientific research and development programmes.
The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the 8th International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2024) in the presence of Mohammed Abdullah Hazam Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the UAE Football Association, and Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Chairman of the UAE government’s Cybersecurity Council.
Under the MoU, the two sides will also share information on security risks and malware and solutions to deter them.
