BRICS+ Young Diplomats Forum highlights development prospects

UFA: The sixth BRICS+ Young Diplomats Forum, which recently concluded in Ufa, Russia, brought together over 100 young diplomats from 23 countries, TV BRICS, the international media partner for the event, reported.

The event attracted a diverse group of experts, including heads of foreign policy departments and ministries, members of the Bashkortostan government, and representatives from leading media and public organisations.

The forum’s business programme covered a range of topics, including economic cooperation, the prospects for establishing a new financial and settlement system, youth policy implementation, and sports development within the BRICS+ countries.

Discussions also focused on security policies and the role of BRICS in the current international relations framework.

Vladimir Kuznetsov, Director of the UN Information Centre in Moscow, highlighted the significance of the forum, noting that it demonstrates the continuity of diplomatic personnel across generations and helps to build trust and mutu
al understanding among participating nations.

‘The key to the success of the young diplomats’ forum lies in the comprehensive professional agenda we have seen at the events taking place in Ufa,’ Kuznetsov stated.

He also pointed out that this gathering of young diplomats is taking place in the lead-up to the BRICS summit, which is scheduled to be held in Kazan in October this year.
