The Supreme Judicial Council held its weekly meeting on Monday, chaired by Judge Ahmed Yahya Al-Mutawakel.
The meeting approved the operational plan of the Public Prosecution for the year 1446 AH, which included a number of objectives and practical axes to meet the needs of the next stage in upgrading the work of the Public Prosecution, speeding up the completion of criminal cases, ensuring justice for crimes’ victims and protecting rights and freedoms.
The Council reviewed the report submitted by the grievances committee on the efficiency assessments submitted by some members of the judiciary and took the appropriate decisions.
It also reviewed some grievances referred to it by the Presidential Office regarding the reconsideration of some judicial rulings issued and took the appropriate measures in accordance with the law.
The Council discussed a number of topics on its agenda , took the appropriate decisions, and approved its previous minutes after making some amendments to them.
