The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) initiated today a food distribution project to assist the most vulnerable families in Bishkek, the capital of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
The event was attended by Acting Charge d’Affaires of the Saudi Embassy to Kyrgyzstan Saad bin Abdullah Al-Duwayan, senior Kyrgyz officials, a KSrelief team, and representatives of Kyrgyz media outlets.
The initiative entails distributing 8,100 baskets with essential food items, helping over 35,000 people.
Al-Duwayan said that this assistance is proof of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s constant commitment and prominent role it plays globally in charitable, humanitarian, and relief efforts, exerted through KSrelief, of the dedication of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to ensuring food security worldwide.
Kyrgyz officials emphasized the project’s significance and its substantial contribution to alleviating th
e hardships faced by impoverished families, and commended the humanitarian initiatives undertaken by the Kingdom, via KSrelief, in Kyrgyzstan.
This assistance is in keeping with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s endeavors, exerted through KSrelief, to provide humanitarian assistance to people in need all over the world.
