KSrelief Clinics Provide Healthcare Services to 2,564 Refugees at Jordan’s Zaatari Camp in 4th Week of September

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) clinics successfully provided healthcare services to 2,564 patients at the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan during the fourth week of September 2024.

During this period, the general medicine clinics received 680 patients, and the internal medicine clinic saw 79 patients with diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. The pediatric clinics attended to 318 children, the emergency clinic received 314 patients, and 109 patients visited the two dental clinics at the camp.

Additionally, 220 female patients visited the camp’s two gynecology clinics. The ear, nose, and throat clinic saw 43 patients with sinus, throat, tonsil, and middle ear infections. The eye clinic received 80 patients, the cardiology clinic attended to 20 patients, and the diagnostic radiology clinic saw 31 patients.

A total of 2,117 laboratory tests were conducted for 275 patients, 132 X-rays were performed for 86 patients, 144 vaccines were administered at the immunization cli
nic for 52 patients, and medications for chronic diseases were dispensed to 185 patients.

The health education department served 72 beneficiaries, and a total of 2,340 medical prescriptions were filled at the pharmacy.
