The Communications and Information Technology Ministry (CITM) signed on Sunday in Sana’a an agreement and memorandum of understanding between the General Directorate of Traffic and the General Authority for Postal Savings (e-sadad platform).
The agreement includes the second phase of providing the offer and payment of electronic traffic services through electronic payment means in banks and e-wallets linked to the e-sadad platform, which is represented in the provision of driver’s license and car card renewal services and payment electronically.
The agreement includes payment through the traffic portal or through the e-application, and completing the payment process electronically through the e-wallets and banking applications of partners.
Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology Ali Al Makni pointed out that the signing of the two agreements comes in implementation of the program of the Government of Change and Construction, which included attention to automation and the use of technol
ogy in improving services provided to citizens, improving the management of government services, achieving the integrity and transparency requirements in government performance, and increasing the efficiency of collecting public resources.
Dr. Al-Barashi considered the signing of the agreement and MoU as the culmination of partnership and cooperation and complementary to the digital transformation axes by allowing the presentation and payment of these services electronically, indicating that linking to the platform will provide a qualitative experience for citizens by providing electronic payment services.
He praised the efforts of the e-sadad cadres and the General Directorate of Traffic in the process of digitizing traffic services, which amounts to (114) traffic services.
He appreciated the keenness of the leadership of the Interior Ministry in completing the digitization of services completely and turning them into a standard model.

ar Wahan, pointed out that the e-sadad platform represents the most important factors enabling the transformation towards bills electronic payment and fees as the most prominent technology in this field.
