‘Al-Freij Mutwaa’ initiative sees high enrollment since its launch

DUBAI: In a move aimed at enhancing the role of women in providing social and educational support to community members, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) has launched the “Al-Freij Mutwaa” initiative.

This educational platform focuses on the learning and memorisation of the Holy Quran remotely using modern and advanced teaching methods through computers and tablets.

The initiative has witnessed significant interest from applicants across various age groups, aiming to empower retired female teachers to educate the future generation and provide educational and social support.

The number of applicants for the initiative has exceeded 480 registrations, including more than 36 applications from people of determination, over 44 from senior female citizens, and more than 400 applications from young girls aged 16 and above. Additionally, over 240 applications have been received for registration as teachers since the announcement of the initiative.
