ABU DHABI: Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, and Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State, attended a reception held yesterday evening by Zhang Yiming, Biming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, to celebrate his country’s 75th National Day.
The event, which took place at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Abu Dhabi, was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the UAE, Chinese businesspeople, and members of the Chinese community residing in the country.
In his address at the event, the Chinese ambassador praised the strong bilateral relations between China and the UAE across all levels, noting that China is the UAE’s largest trading partner in non-oil trade.
