House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Monday received at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh, Qatari Ambassador, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, with whom he broached the country’s latest political and field developments, in addition to the displaced crisis.
Speaker Berri also received in Ain el-Tineh, the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Janine Hennis-Plasschaert.
Discussions reportedly touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, especially the political and field developments, in light of the escalation of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
Berri later held a meeting with Free Patriotic Movement leader, MP Gebran Bassil, at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh.
