UN Calls for Probe Following Deadly Strikes on Nasser Hospital in Gaza

Gaza: UN Secretary-General Ant³nio Guterres has condemned the deadly airstrikes on Nasser Hospital in Gaza and called for a prompt and impartial investigation. ‘These latest horrific killings highlight the extreme risks that medical personnel and journalists face as they carry out their vital work amid this brutal conflict,’ UN Spokesman St©phane Dujarric said in a statement. According to Emirates News Agency, the Secretary-General reiterated that medical personnel and journalists must be able to perform their essential duties without interference, intimidation, or harm, in full accordance with international humanitarian law. He also renewed his call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire

UAE President Concludes Two-Day State Visit to Angola

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today departed the Republic of Angola, concluding a two-day state visit. According to Emirates News Agency, the visit focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Angola. Discussions were held on various topics, including economic cooperation and investment opportunities. During the visit, the UAE President met with Angolan officials to explore areas of mutual interest. The meetings aimed to enhance collaboration in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and trade. Both sides expressed a commitment to fostering stronger ties and working together on future projects.
