The branches of Oil and Gas Companies and the Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring and Study Center in Dhamar province on Tuesday held a cultural event marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth.
Deputy governor Ali Atef emphasized the significance of commemorating the Prophet’s birth to reflect on his teachings and honor his legacy.
Atef highlighted Yemen’s historical support for the Prophet and called for a celebration that underscores national pride and religious devotion.
Eng. Mohammed al-Houthi, Director of the Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring and Study Center, stressed the importance of using the occasion to renew loyalty to God and the Prophet, advocating for adherence to Islamic principles to advance the nation’s progress.
Member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, Islamic scholar Ismail al-Washli, reviewed the Prophet’s life and qualities, urging attendees to emulate his moral teachings and embody his message in their daily lives.
